June is LGBTQIA/Pride Month! During this time, we celebrate pride and recognize issues that still plague the LGBTQIA community. Pride stands in opposition to the shame that queer people were forced to experience in a society that didn’t accept their sexuality, and it honors the strength of LGBTQ+ individuals who endured harsh struggles in today’s society.
